CLUB CRIMSON VOLLEYBALL

Layne started her volleyball career at Brookwood High School playing MB.  She was a lady panther for 4 years (2010-2013). She began her first year of club ball in 2011, during her sophomore year, and ended in 2013 playing MB/OH. She was selected as MVP Player of the Year in the Tuscaloosa Newspaper two years in a row 2012 & 2013. In 2013, based on her performance at the USA Beach High Performance tryout, she was invited to attend the 2013 USA Beach High Performance Elite Camp as a member of the USA Youth Girls Beach High Performance Elite (A3) Program. Before camp started she played the 2013 beach season with another Club Crimson teammate of hers, making her a utility player. In between all of her high school years she instructed indoor and outdoor volleyball lessons. She was offered a scholarship at the University of West Alabama that unfortunately had to turn down, due to the birth of her son.
